Larva: aquatic.
Extra Ecological Information
Adult occasionally bites humans in jungle; larval types of the synonym Uranotaenia hilli found in crab holes in mangrove swamps; larva also found in mud pools in mangrove swamps, earth drains, brackish pools and large artificial containers such as tins, canoes etc. in the tidal zone.
