Ecological Descriptors

Adult: volant.

Larva: aquatic.

Extra Ecological Information

Adult attracted to dry-ice traps; larva found in ground pools in grassy swamps, shallow ground pools in moorland and sedgeland country and deep prospect holes with vegetated peaty edges and overhanging sedges.
