Extra Ecological Information
Adult day-biting and attacks humans, dogs, rabbits, sheep, pigs, kangaroos, cattle and horses; adults found resting in rabbit burrows, a crab hole amongst rushes and on shaded banks by pools; larva found in ground pools, often along natural watercourses, clear freshwater dams with grasses and weeds, roadside ditches, flooded bushland depressions and clear saline water in creeks.
