Adult: ectoparasitic (host(s): Kyphosus vaigiensis (Quoy & Gaimard, 1825) [KYPHOSIDAE] Brassy Chub; Kyphosus cinerascens (Forsskål, 1775) [KYPHOSIDAE] Snubnose Drummer).
Notes
According to Young (1970), this species was described by Young (1969); this is incorrect, however; no description can be found; the 'types' of heronensis are listed as A. kyphosi in the USNPC; Lester and Sewell (1989) refer to these records from K. cinerascens and K. gibsoni as Acleotrema sp. attributed to Young (1970).
