Acleotrema girellae Johnston, T.H. & Tiegs, O.W. 1922. New gyrodactyloid trematodes from Australian fishes together with a reclassification of the super-family Gyrodactyloidea. Proceedings of the Linnean Society of New South Wales 47: 83-131 [110] [transferred to Diplectanum by Price, 1937; incorrectly listed as A. gibsoni by Young, 1970].

Status unknown, USNPC 63663.02; 63149–63151 voucher, Heron Island, Queensland, Australia; QM GL 13643–13648 voucher, Heron Island, Queensland, Australia; also Hawaii and Mexico.
