- Acerentulus sexspinatus Womersley, H. 1936. A new species of Protura from Australia. Entomologist's Monthly Magazine 72: 65-66 [65] [Tuxen, S.L. 1967. Australian Protura, their phylogeny and zoogeography. Zeitschrift für Zoologische Systematik und Evolutionsforschung 5: 1–53 (18) states 'Womersley described this species from Noarlunga in South Australia and Porongorup in Western Australia…The specimens from Porongorup, however, belong to Gracilentulus tasmanicus mihi and Berberentulus nitidus Imad. & Yos. or are indeterminable.'].
