BIOLOGY

Fuller, C. 1899. XIV. Notes and descriptions of some species of Western Australian Coccidae. Transactions of the Entomological Society of London 1899: 435–473 states that this species is viviparous.

STRUCTURE

Adult female naked, at first an obscure green (olive), becoming light brown or buff colored with maturity. Body elongate, wedge shaped, tapering at both ends. First-instar nymph elongate, segmented, with very distinct anal tubercles which are spined and bear long setae. Margin of body fringed with spines of which there are also 4 longitudinal and more conspicuous rows on the dorsum (see Fuller, C. 1899. XIV.
