Tribe Abraxini Warren, 1893

Diagnosis

Holloway (1994) lists the following apomorphies for the tribe: valvae of male genitalia with digitate, dorsal, costal process and ventral section very large, rounded, or triangular, with ornamentation often on both dorsal and ventral margins; very small tympanic cavi; facies; yellowish thorax and abdomen (and often wing bases) with complex array of dark maculae, contrasting with white ground colour of the wings.
