Compiler and date details
31 May 2009 - Gary C. B. Poore & Mark J. Grygier
Introduction
The Ascothoracida include about 100 species of parasites of echinoderms and anthozoans (Grygier 1996a). The present-day classification was outlined by Grygier (1987, 1996b) and adopted by Martin & Davis (2001). Both orders, Laurida and Dendrogastrida, are represented in Australia. Grygier (1996b) dealt with the biology of the group in detail. Grygier (1996a) listed the species associated with coral reefs.
