Suborder ARTICULINA Busk, 1859

Introduction

The suborder was introduced, as the Articulatae, by Busk (1859). The colonies are erect, multi-branched, with the branches composed of calcified uniserial or biserial internodes joined by short cuticular tubular joints. The suborder contains a single living family, the Crisiidae.
