Family ARMINIDAE Iredale & O'Donoghue, 1923

Introduction

Species of this family are those with elongate tapering mantle, and, when present, lateral gills in the space between foot and mantle. The rhinophores are usually close together, situated in a notch between the anterior ends of the mantle margins. The anus is right posterior lateral. Arminids feed on sea pens (Pennatulacea).
