Family AMPHILINIDAE Claus, 1879
Introduction
In the most recent review of the Amphilinidea, Gibson (1994) accepted eight species divided into two families, the Amphilinidae and the Schizochoeridae, with the latter further separated into two subfamilies. Rohde (1998) disagreed with the validity of both families (and subfamilies), and retained only the Amphilinidae. This classification is still recognised in Caira & Jensen (2017).
