Family ACTINOCYCLIDAE O'Donoghue, 1929

Introduction

Soft, highly convex dorids with a circle of upstanding gills and a velvet-like or nodular surface of the mantle. Peculiarities of the hard parts of the alimentary tract set this family apart from other dorids. There are several large tropical Indo-Pacific species. However most are small and uniformly coloured. Compiled from Burn (in press).
