Higher Taxon ACALYPTRATAE Macquart, 1835
Introduction
Wheeler & Sinclair (2020) recently proposed the family name Paraleucopidae for the previously unplaced New World genera Paraleucopis Malloch, Mallochianamyia Santos-Neto and Schizostomyia Malloch, and undescribed Australian species. The three included genera are not recorded from Australia and we refrain from including the family here until the identity of the undescribed Australian taxa is confirmed.
