Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Melaleuca linariifolia Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Flax-leaved Paperbark (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Syzygium smithii (Poir.) Nied. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Leptospermum flavescens and Leptospermum sp., Williams (1995) added Acmena smithii 'minor' (Myrtaceae).
