Diagnosis

Resembling Eldama Dworakowska but vertex longer, coronal suture absent, face more flat, pronotum covered with small lamellae of wax, looking like "patterned ground", and both wings distinctly narrower (expecially 2nd apical cell in fore wing). Subgenital plate resembling that of Aidola Mel. but setae reduced in number. Macrosetae not numerous, marginal row of microsetae simple, the lower microsetae thinner and longer than the others. Apical 1/3 of the plate and outer margin infuscated, inner part of the very tip light. Pygophore side infuscated. Small, gracile microsetae scattered at its lower part and at upper margin. A group of rigid, small microsetae near the centre, parallel to the margin of hind upper angle. Sclerotized processes arising on inner side of pygophore lobe, protruding beyond semimembraneous hind margin. Connective lamellate, with distinct central lobe. Paramere with praeapical lobe and sensory structures near it, apical part simple. Penis with praeatrium comparatively small. Two lamellate appendages arising on both sides of gonopore merged with each other forming a ring. Abdominal apodemes distinct, long (Dworakowska 1972).
