Introduction

Umbilidelos altonmoui is distinguished from Saladelos commixta by the lack of spiral grooves on the upper surface and in having a smooth protoconch.

Diagnosis

Shell medium-sized, shiny, dark yellow, subglobose with a low domed spire; body whorl evenly coiled; protoconch shiny, smooth, teleoconch sculpture of low growth ridges and weak, occasionally with branched spiral striae above, shiny below; umbilicus very wide, cup-shaped; diameter 9.0mm.
