A tiny arboreal land snail occurring in closed forest in northeastern Queensland. Similar to Elasmias wakefieldiae.

 

Distribution

States

Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia

Also occurs in southern Papua New Guinea.

Lowland rainforest and littoral vine thicket; living on leaves and branches of shrubs and saplings.

 

Diagnosis

Shell very small, translucent golden-brown, ovately conical; sculptured with weak growth ridges and spirally incised lines; columella with a small lamella; aperture sub-ovate with a weak parietal tooth; imperforate; height 2.9 mm.
