Introduction

Paralaoma gelida has more crowded radial ribs and a narrower umbilicus compared to Paralaoma caputspinulae.

Forest, litter-dwelling, woodland.

 

Diagnosis

Shell very small, waxy brown, turbinate with relatively high dome-shaped spire; whorls rounded; protoconch with cord-like spiral lirae, adult whorls with fairly closely spaced radial ribs and growth lines and fine spiral lirae; umbilicus narrow; diameter 2.5mm.
