As Temnocephala handschini; Dutch New Guinea; ex Cherax quadricarinatus (von Martens, 1868) (as Paracheraps quadricarinatus). See Baer (1945).

New Guinea; ex Cherax quadricarinatus (von Martens, 1868). See Baer (1953).

In farm ponds, Gympie, Queensland, Australia; ex carapace Cherax quadricarinatus (von Martens, 1868); the authors note that this host species is from North Queensland, but is in culture in Gympie, and that the temnocephalan was likely to have been transported with the host. See Jennings et al. (1992).
