Introduction

This species from a suburban garden in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, is known only from the male holotype and a female from the same site which is possibly the same species, although paler in colour than the holotype.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

This species can be distinguished from other members of the genus by the narrow subgenital plates and upturned processes from the dorsal margin of the aedeagus (Webb 1983).
