Type data:
Holotype BPBM 14562 ♂ (coll.: 1.xi.1963, J. Sedlacek), W. Northam, Western Australia.
Introduction
This species is only known from the male holotype from "Northam" which is assumed to be the township in the Avon wheatbelt of Western Australia. Records in the ASCU database indicate that J. Sedlacek, who collected the specimen, collected at Geraldton, Western Australia, later that same month so he was known to be in the area at the time.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Transcephalic stripe absent. Aedeagal shaft undivided, apical area bearing four spines and a pair of small teeth. Pygophore process bearing a small tooth, shaft expanded near base, apex acute, dorsally directed (Stevens 1994)
