Ecological Descriptors

Benthic, marine.

Extra Ecological Information

Population densities over 100 per plant are frequently encountered on Ecklonia radiata; ocassionally small numbers are found on Phyllospora, Caulpera, Cystophora, Sargasssum and on encrusted stones in the infralittoral fringe and sublittoral zone.
