Species Phrikoceros fritillus Newman & Cannon, 1996

 

Introduction

Specimens of P. fritillus are brown with cream microdots and an orange triangle between the pseudotentacles; this colouration provides excellent camouflage on the colonial ascidians on which specimens are known to feed (Newman & Cannon 1996).
