A smallish yellow species with brown markings. It is only known from SE Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Yellow marked laterally on pronotum with brown. Scutellum brownish yellow. Forewing with clavus and distal half of wing brownish hyaline, basal half of wing appearing whitish, subcostal area yellow. Abdomen marked dorsally with brown. Male genitalia with subgenital plates narrowly spatulate in lateral aspect. Styles with apex hook-shaped. Aedeagus with socle region fairly short; shaft abruptly tapered distally to acute apex in lateral aspect, a single short process arising apically from anterior margin, directed ventrally. Female genitalia with posterior margin of pregenital sternite convex each side of midline. Expanded apex of third valvulae slightly more than half length of narrow basal region and extended slightly more than 1/3 its length beyond pygophore. Length ♂ 5.0 mm, ♀ 5.3 mm (Webb 1983).
