Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Angophora hispida (Sm.) Blaxell [MYRTACEAE] Dwarf Apple (on flowers); Angophora floribunda (Sm.) Sweet [MYRTACEAE] Rough-Barked Apple (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum morrisonii Joy Thomps. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers); Baeckea sp. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Hawkeswood (1978) recorded this species from Angophora floribunda. Williams & Williams (1983) added it from Leptospermum flavescens.
