Species Liriomyza huidobrensis (Blanchard, 1926)

Introduction

In 2020, this South American species was originally identified in Australia from the Sydney Basin area and is now considered established throughout NSW with the potential to impact vegetables, ornamental plants and weed hosts (Mulholland et al 2022).
