Marine.

 

Diagnosis

Broad pedal disc, up to 50 mm. Column smooth, olive or brownish red colour. Perforated pseudospherules at margin. Usually 2 siphonoglyphs, sometimes 1. Approximately 100 tentacles, grey, green, or reddish colour, inner tentacles approximately 1 cm. Fosse broad, marginal sphincter muscle elongated and diffuse. Slightly more mesenteries at base than tentacles. Retractors bandlike, parietobasilar muscles very strong forming fold on mesenteries.
