Type data:
Syntype(s) NMV T.14484 ♀, Mt. Gregson, New South Wales; ANIC ♀, Warral, New South Wales
Comment: Turner described Scaptesyle tetramita from two females collected from Warral near Tamworth which he obtained from George Lyell. The NMV type referred to here is a female from the G. Lyell collection in the NMV from Mt. Gregson, also near Tamworth, and which bears a Turner type label for Scaptesyle tetrasticha Turner, a nomen nudem. It closely matches Turner's description for S. tetramita.
