Adult: volant.
Larva: aquatic, tree hole.
Extra Ecological Information
Adult diurnal biter and recorded once biting humans; larva found in tree cavities, usually in dry scrubs (monsoon forest) and not in dense rainforest; bred from the washings of a dry rot hole in Planchonia careya F.Muell., cocky apple tree [Lecythidaceae].
