Adult a vicious daytime biter along edges of swamp, near creeks, in bush, jungle, rainforest and scrub; adults occasionally collected in light and animal-baited traps; isolation of Eubenangee virus from 3 mosquitoes collected at Innisfail, QLD; immatures found in shaded creek in Bamaga on Cape York Peninsula, QLD.
