Diagnosis

Body flattened with broad abdomen. Head with setose vertexal foveae connected by short V-shaped sulcus; venter with sharply defined, transverse, arcuate gular carina; head base with ventral setal ruff. Pronotum with lateral antebasal foveae densely setose, median antebasal fovea nude; prosternum broadly convex. Both median and lateral mesosternal foveae forked. Elytra with four basal foveae; discal stria short. Visible tergite 1 (IV) as long as remaining visible tergites combined.
