    Paratype(s) EUQ 7 8 adults, 2 morphotype larvae (some specimens with associated larval and pupal skins); ANIC 2 adults and morphotype larva (adult with associated larval and pupal skins); BMNH adults and morphotype larva (adult with associated larval and pupal skins); USNM adults and morphotype larva (adult with associated larval and pupal skins); QM adults; ANIC(MMUS) adult.

Adult rarely seen and only one recorded attack on humans; larva found in tree holes in rainforest and rock hole in a boulder.
