Larva: aquatic.

Extra Ecological Information

Adult female apparently does not bite humans; larva found in permanent and semi-permanent ground water collections with green filamentous algae such as transient, jungle pools and seepage pools, puddles, shallow ponds, drainage ditches, open sago swamps, margins of flooded forests.
