Tasm. 90: 1–33 [16] (stated that Blanchard's types could not be found in Paris, no subsequent author has selected one of Blanchard's figures as the lectotype, nor has any author selected one of Couchman's 'neotypes' as the name bearing type); Couchman, L.E. 1962. Notes on some Tasmanian and Australian Lepidoptera-Rhopalocera. Pap. Proc. R. Soc. Tasm. 96: 73–81 pl. 1 [78] (designated a 'neotype' male and 'neotype' female, now in ANIC, and figured both sexes); Edwards, E.D., Newland, J. & Regan, L. 2001. Ecological Descriptors

Larva: attendant ants, herbivore (associated flora: Acacia mearnsii De Wild. [FABACEAE] Black Wattle; Acacia melanoxylon R.Br. [FABACEAE] Blackwood; Acacia dealbata Link [FABACEAE] Silver Wattle).

Extra Ecological Information

Larvae feed mostly on Acacia dealbata, A. mearnsii or A. melanoxylon and are attended by the ant Anonychomyrma biconvexa (Formicidae).
