Introduction

A mainly European genus distinguished by an elongately oval shell. A single introduced species has been recorded from New South Wales.

Diagnosis

Shell medium-sized, ovately elongate, with irregular growth lines and malleations; lip reflected and a small denticle present on the parietal wall of aperture; umbilicus absent. Colour axially striated white and brown.
