Introduction
Pupoides beltianus is most similar to P. pacificus, but can be distinguished by the barely reflected palatal lip. Size difference between the two species is masked by marked variation in local populations.

Diagnosis
Shell very small, light brown, elongate-conical, dextral; shell surface smooth with very weak growth lines; aperture ovate with a small tooth at parieto-palatal angle; lip reflected except at the palatal edge; umbilicus a narrow chink; height to 4.5 mm.
