Introduction

Magilaoma canobla is distinguished from the more southerly M. penolensis by the smaller size and less angulate periphery.

Diagnosis

Shell very small, brown, trochoidal with low conical spire; whorls angular to sub-angular; protoconch with weak beaded spiral lirae, teleoconch sculptured with coarse radial ribs ornamented with prominent periostracal blades that become wing-like at the periphery, microsculpture of fine spiral lirae; umbilicus tiny; diameter 2.5mm.
