Species Plecia (Plecia) erebeoidea Hardy, 1982

 

Introduction

This species was described and illustrated by Hardy (1958, p.198, figs 10a-10c) as P. erebea Skuse, with a distribution in New South Wales and Queensland. He later (Hardy, 1982) separated the north Queensland material as Plecia erebeoidea, and noted that this species appears to be restricted to northern Queensland (Hardy, 1982).
