Larva: leaf-curl inducer, lerp-former, sap-sucker (associated flora: Eucalyptus radiata DC., 1828 [MYRTACEAE] Narrow-leaved Peppermint; Eucalyptus caliginosa Blakely & McKie, 1934 [MYRTACEAE] New England Stringybark; Eucalyptus diversifolia Bonpl., 1814 [MYRTACEAE] Soap Mallee; Eucalyptus conglomerata Maiden & Blakely, 1929 [MYRTACEAE] Swamp Stringbark; Eucalyptus nitida J.D.Hook. [MYRTACEAE]; Eucalyptus stellulata Sieber ex DC. [MYRTACEAE]; Eucalyptus rossii R.T.Baker & H.G.Sm. [MYRTACEAE]; Eucalyptus macrorhyncha F.Muell. ex Benth.
