Family HYDRACTINIIDAE L. Agassiz, 1862
Introduction
Several genera of the Hydractiniidae have been updated in the World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS), redefined by Miglietta et al (2010) and Miglietta & Cunningham (2012) based on molecular phylogenies. WoRMS list 34 Hydractiniidae genera, of which two are found in Australia.
