Extra Distribution Information

Indo-West Pacific. The Australian distribution of the species is uncertain due to unstable taxonomy. Wilson (1993) gave the distribution as circum-Australia, but the Australian Museum collection records specimens from south-western WA, around northern Australia to southern NSW.
