Indonesia; Northwestern Australia, as far east as Port Keats, NT and the southeastern islands of Indonesia (POPPE1992A), North West Cape to the North Kimberley, WA (Wilson1993B).

Extra Ecological Information
20-35 m deep in its southern distribution; sand, mud and broken shells; collected intertidally at Pender Bay.
