  • Type data:
     Holotype TMH K220 aclitellate specimen, posterior amputee (dissected) ('in poor, macerated condition' and 'internal organs removed and mising from jar' (Blakemore 2000)), Melaleuca Inlet, Port Davey, SW Tasmania [43°23'S 146°10'E].
    Paratype(s) TMH K324 mature specimen (undissected) ('macerated in mid body' and 'sectioned after clitellar region with prostate removed and missing from jar' (Blakemore 2000)), Melaleuca Inlet, Port Davey, SW Tasmania [43°23'S 146°10'E]; BMNH 1973.2.7-8 both mature specimens, one dissected, New Harbour, SW Tasmania [43°30'S 146°10'E]; AM W5208-5210 3 mature specimens, one clitellate specimen dissected, New Harbour, SW Tasmania [43°30'S 146°10'E]; QVM 14:1913 2 mature specimens, both dissected (Jamieson (1974) referred to these specimens as BJ: T26-27, retained in his own collection; they were donated to the Queen Victoria Museum, Launceston in 1991), New Harbour, SW Tasmania [43°30'S 146°10'E].
