Species Arhopala philander C. & R. Felder, 1865
Introduction
Lambkin and Knight (2005) have confirmed the identity of the species of Arhopala Boisduval, 1832, from Saibai and Dauan Islands, Torres Strait, that was listed and illustrated in Braby (2000), as A. philander C. & R. Felder, 1865, based on large series of specimens; the population has been referred to the New Guinea subspecies A. philander gander Evans, 1957.
