Large Duskdarter
- Zyxomma multinervis Carpenter, G.H. 1897. On some dragonflies in the Dublin Museum of Science and Art. Scientific Proceedings of the Royal Dublin Society ns 8: 434-438 pl. 16 [435] [Ris, F. 1913. Libellulinen 7. Fasc. XV pp. 837–964 1 pl. in, Collections Zoologiques du Baron Edm. de Selys Longchamps. Brussels : Institut royal des Sciences naturelles de Belgique. (906) amended the original spelling to multinerve having presumably interpreted multinervis as being adjectival. It is however a noun, the ablative plural of 'nervus', the adjective from which is 'nervosus'. The ablative plural form of a noun not being permissable as a specific name (Art. 11(h)(i)), the appropriate correction is to 'nervorum', i.e. 'of many veins' rather than 'with many veins'].
