Introduction
Nonsporulating limax amoebae, all cyst-forming, many forming an alternate flagellated stage (not from cysts), nucleolus forms two polar masses during nuclear division (promitosis).
Unidentified Protozoa thought to represent the genera Heteramoeba Droop, 1962 have also been recorded in Hutt Lagoon, Western Australia (Post et al, 1983).
