In addition, they did not provide a generic description separate from the description of the included species. Not made available by Inaba & Oyama (1977) Catalogue of the molluscan taxa described by T. Habe: 43 (G. millegranosa cited as type species, but no diagnosis); nor from Beu & Ponder (1979) Records of the Australian Museum 32(1): 9 (G. millegranosa cited as type species "by original designation", but no diagnosis and Galeoastraea listed in synonymy of Bolma)].
