Introduction
The identification of this species is in doubt. The Australian Museum collection holds a species identified with this name, but the header label notes that the type locality for Liotia pulcherrima A. Adams, 1850 is "Cape of Good Hope". Wilson (1993) used the name but refers to the author as Reeve, 1843, which does not exist. The range of the Australian Museum specimens is south western WA with one lot from SA.
