  Comment: Waterhouse in the original description referred to types and mentioned six male and one female syntypes; Waterhouse, G.A. 1902. Notes on Australian Rhopalocera: Lycaenidae. Part 1. Proc. Linn. Soc. N.S.W. 27(3): 331–342 [341] (referred to a female type but in the context it is clear he was referring to the female syntype); Peters, J.V. 1971. A Catalogue of the Type Specimens of the Hesperioidea and Papilionoidea (Lepidoptera) in the Australian Museum. Greenwich, NSW : Australian Entomological Press 36 pp. [26] (type information).
